How do you reply to a Typeform or Tally contact form?

To reply to a Typeform or Tally contact form, connect it to a Muzau agent: every response reaches it, it writes to the person as a first message and files what they have already said in your tracking file, column by column. It never asks again for anything the form contained and asks only the questions left unanswered. By default, you review its reply before it goes out.

Why a Typeform or Tally response goes unanswered

The form did its part: the person said what they are looking for, by when, sometimes with what budget. Then the notification arrives among other emails, often from a technical address. You have to find the address, reread, write. The reply goes out the next day.

And it often asks again for what the form already said. The person feels they were not read. Your team keeps the conversation, the proposal and the relationship; it is the first reply and the upkeep of the file that the agent takes on.

How the agent goes about it

A reply ready in "To approve", and their answers filed in your file

Typeform and Tally connect to a Muzau agent

Typeform and Tally connect in Muzau's tools: every response reaches the agent, with no copy and paste. Without that connection, the email notification is enough: sent to the agent's address, or spotted in your connected Gmail or Outlook inbox, as with any contact form on the site. Another route: a web address secured by a key, for which Muzau prepares the steps to follow. The key is shown only once.

The agent writes to the person who filled in the form

The agent writes to the address the person typed in the form, not to the technical address of the notification. It writes as a first message, since they have received nothing from you yet. It replies with what the Brain knows about your business: offers, prices, lead times and tone. It writes in French or in English, depending on the person.

Since they did not write to the agent themselves, their reply waits for you by default in "To approve". Muzau emails you right away. You send it as it is, correct it or set it aside.

The form answers fill in the tracking file

When the agent is created, Muzau suggests the list of details to gather based on your business, ten at most, as for qualifying a prospect. You remove some or add others: they become the columns of the tracking file. What the person answered is filed there, column by column and in their own words. What they did not say stays empty: the software rejects empty phrases such as "not provided".

The agent asks only for what is missing

Before replying, the agent rereads what the person has already written, and uses it instead of asking again. By default, it does not follow up. If you ask it to, each follow-up covers only what is missing. When all the answers are in, it is the software that notes it, not the AI: you receive a card in "To do" and an email, with their answers to each of your questions. For the pace, see following up a prospect who has not given everything.

Setting up Typeform or Tally to reply without asking twice

Beyond a required email field and few questions, a few settings specific to Typeform and Tally change the first reply, with or without an agent:

The first reply must show that the form was read. Four lines are enough: two answers repeated in their words, what can be said right away, the one question the form did not ask, then a next step. For example: "Thank you for your request. You would like to start next month, with the budget given in the form. Here is what we can offer within that range. Just one question before going further: how many people will be involved? If that suits you, I suggest a short call this week."

Two mistakes to avoid: asking again for the budget or timing the person has just typed, and sending a template message that quotes none of their answers.

What it does not do

Autonomous does not mean unchecked. You set the level of autonomy of every agent, its limits cannot be crossed, everything it does is recorded in a plain-language log, and one gesture stops it all.

Frequently asked questions

How do you reply directly to the person from a Typeform or Tally notification?
In the settings of the notification sent to you, choose the form's email field as the reply address: one click on "Reply" then writes to the person, not to the technical address. A Muzau agent, for its part, reads the address in the responses' email field, or in the field you point it to.
Do you need a confirmation email after a Typeform or Tally form?
Yes, a short one: it says the request arrived and when the reply will come. It does not take the place of a reply. The real reply repeats what the person wrote and asks only for what is missing.
What happens if the person has not answered all the questions on the form?
With a Muzau agent, what they did not say stays empty in the tracking file, never "not provided". Their reply asks them for what is missing. If you set it up, the agent follows up at D+2 then D+4, for example, six follow-ups at most, and stops when the file is complete.
Can Tally or Typeform responses go into Google Sheets?
Yes. The tracking file of a Muzau agent, where the responses are filed, can be copied into a Google Sheets spreadsheet, one row per request. The copy goes one way only: a change made in the sheet does not come back into Muzau.
Can an AI agent reply to HubSpot forms?
Yes. HubSpot Forms connects to Muzau like Typeform and Tally: every submission reaches the agent, which writes to the person and files their answers. Any other form that sends an email notification (WordPress, Webflow, Google Forms) goes through that notification.
