To chase a prospect who has not given all the information you asked for, ask again only for what is missing, and set the dates in advance. A Muzau agent sends these follow-ups by email, for example at D+2 then D+4. It does not re-ask what the person has already given, starts again from their last answer if it is still incomplete, and stops when Muzau sees that everything is in. You receive their answers and the next step already drafted, to review before it goes out.
They wrote in with a request, you asked them three questions, and they answered only one. Or they filled in your website form and left the one field that matters empty. Often it is not lack of interest: they replied between two other things, or did not have the answer to hand.
Without that information, there is no quote and no prepared meeting, and the file waits. The follow-up then lands badly: it goes out too late, or it asks the whole list again, and the person feels they were not read. Your team keeps the conversation and the judgment; keeping track of what is missing, file by file, is what the agent takes on.
When you set it up, Muzau suggests the information to gather based on your business; you remove some or add others, ten at most, and they become the columns of the agent's tracking file. Information marked "as needed" does not hold up a file's completeness. The request can arrive in your Gmail or Outlook inbox, or through your website form (WordPress, Typeform, Tally or Google Forms, as long as it sends you an email). With each exchange, the agent files what the person said, in their own words; what they did not say stays empty, never "not provided".
By default, the agent does not follow up: you ask it to, for example at D+2 then D+4. You set up to six follow-ups, 1 to 90 days apart. Each follow-up goes out by email and asks again only the questions still empty, without re-asking what the person has already given. If they answer only half, the follow-up carries on: the next one asks for the rest, and its delay counts from that answer.
As soon as every expected question has an answer, it is the software that notices, not the AI. That person's follow-ups stop, and the one waiting for your approval is withdrawn. You receive a card in "To do" and an email, with their answers to each of your questions. Follow-ups also stop if the person declines, asks not to be contacted again, if another agent writes to them, or if a meeting is set with them.
Before you create the agent, you choose whether it sends on its own or submits each message to you first. In the schedule for the next 14 days, you read the planned follow-up before it goes out and can edit it. On the complete-file card, the next step is chosen in one click: propose a meeting, decline politely, or send the next step you picked for this agent, a quote or a price. The first is already drafted, and you always review before it goes out.
The person has already written to you and is waiting on you: the message should cost them as little effort as possible.
The skeleton fits in four lines: a thank you, the remaining question, its reason, and the next step. For example, with the subject "Your request: one last question", then: "Thanks for your reply, your budget is noted. To send you a firm price, I have one question left: what date would you need it for? As soon as you reply, I will send you the quote."
For the pacing, see how many times to follow up with a prospect; to choose the questions themselves, how to qualify a prospect; to read a complete file, how to tell if a prospect is serious.
Autonomous does not mean unchecked. You set the level of autonomy of every agent, its limits cannot be crossed, everything it does is recorded in a plain-language log, and one gesture stops it all.
For the tasks you don't have time for. You give the address of your website, then describe the work in your own words. Nothing to install.
