How do you update your CRM after a meeting?

To update your CRM after a meeting without re-entering anything, connect it to Muzau: HubSpot, Pipedrive, Salesforce, Zoho CRM or Attio. A Muzau agent drafts the recap for the customer; once you have approved and sent it, it updates the customer record and the deal stage. With a Granola note, what the customer said (need, budget, timeline, decision-maker, objection) is also filed on their "Customers met" record, in Muzau.

Why the CRM is rarely up to date after a meeting

After a meeting there are two things to write: the recap for the customer, and the record in the CRM. The recap goes out, more or less. The record waits for the evening, then the end of the week, and gets filled in from memory: the previous stage, a next action with no date, the budget forgotten.

The CRM then stops being something you decide from. You no longer know whether the deal is moving, or who has to do what. It is not a lack of discipline: it is the same information to enter twice. Your team keeps the meeting and the relationship; the agent starts from the recap you read anyway, and carries what follows into your CRM.

HubSpot, Pipedrive or Salesforce: the record and the stage updated after the recap

HubSpot, Pipedrive, Salesforce, Zoho CRM, Sellsy, Axonaut, Odoo, folk, Attio and monday CRM connect to Muzau. After each meeting, the agent drafts the recap for the customer, from your Granola note or the write-up you forward to it. Once the recap is approved and sent, it updates the customer record and the deal stage in the CRM. Nothing more: no score, no forecast. Like any action in a connected tool, this update follows your autonomy settings and can wait for your go-ahead. The full chain is described in connecting Granola to HubSpot or Pipedrive.

The blind copy: the recap email filed in the CRM

For the recap email itself to be filed in the CRM, enter in Muzau the blind copy address that your CRM gives you, for the whole business or for one salesperson. It is also the route for a CRM that is not on the list, noCRM.io for example. Every recap you approve and send is copied there. Follow-ups and other emails are not. The CRM must recognize the address that sends the recap: by default, the business's own.

What the customer said, filed in "Customers met"

With a Granola note, what the customer said themselves is filed on their "Customers met" record, in Muzau: their need, their budget, their timeline, who decides, their objection. Each item carries the meeting date and the link to the note; the rules for this record are in the sales visit report without a spreadsheet.

The next meeting's brief picks up the record

On the morning of a new meeting with this customer, from 7 a.m., you receive a brief by email that picks up their record and the commitments in progress. The detail is in preparing a meeting with a customer you have already met.

What to update in the CRM after a meeting

An up-to-date record answers a single question: what happens next, and who does it. With or without a tool, check these points before moving on to the next meeting.

Do it the same day: the next day, you remember the impression, no longer the figures. And do not move the stage on a feeling. A deal moves forward when the customer has done or accepted something concrete: a quote requested, a date set, a document sent. For the written follow-up, see next how to follow up with your customers from HubSpot or Pipedrive.

What it does not do

Autonomous does not mean unchecked. You set the level of autonomy of every agent, its limits cannot be crossed, everything it does is recorded in a plain-language log, and one gesture stops it all.

Frequently asked questions

Which CRMs update after a meeting without re-entering?
HubSpot, Pipedrive, Salesforce, Zoho CRM, Sellsy, Axonaut, Odoo, folk, Attio and monday CRM connect directly to Muzau: the customer record and the deal stage update once the meeting recap is approved. Another CRM that gives a blind copy address, like noCRM.io, receives every approved recap through it.
Do you still have to enter the meeting write-up in the CRM?
No. You read and approve the recap the Muzau agent drafted for the customer: the record and the deal stage then update in the connected CRM. If you also enter the CRM's blind copy address, the recap email is filed there.
What should you note in the CRM after a customer meeting?
The stage the deal is really at, the next action with a date and a person, and what the customer said: need, budget, timeline, decision-maker, objection. Add the commitments on both sides and the link to the meeting note.
Can you update your CRM after a meeting without Granola?
Yes. You forward the write-up from your note-taking tool, or your hand-typed notes, to the Muzau agent's address: it drafts the recap, and the CRM record updates once that recap is approved. What the customer said is only filed on their "Customers met" record with a Granola note.
When should you update your CRM after a meeting?
The same day, while the customer's words and figures are fresh. With Granola, Muzau rereads your notes every minute: the recap waits in "To approve" as soon as the note is finished, and the CRM follows your approval.
